Bengia Jirmin from Kurung Kumey stands as a strong voice against the stigma surrounding Tuberculosis. Having worked at the grassroots level, she has witnessed firsthand how fear and shame—not the disease itself—claim lives. Her purpose is to break the silence around TB by promoting early testing, equitable care, and compassion. Bengia believes that health is a universal right, and through awareness, we can end the stigma, save lives, and one day close the chapter on TB for good.
