Nami Sumpi, a 24-year-old Apatani woman born in the mystical valley of Ziro, draws her purpose from the rich folklore and traditions passed down by her parents. Proudly representing the heritage of Arunachal Pradesh, she advocates for the preservation of culture in the face of modernization. Through the promotion of local literature, arts, and crafts, Nami aims to bridge the wisdom of the past with the vision of the future—believing that it is the youth’s duty to carry forward the legacy of their ancestors.
